PowerCommand® Network is an intelligent, distributed control and monitoring system for operating and monitoring on–site power systems. Intelligent because it employs control devices that communicate with each other via "smart" digital microprocessors, enhancing system functionality and performance. Distributed in the sense that the communications protocol is resident in every network module.
PowerCommand Network uses standard interfaces to communicate with all leading building management systems and automation packages. The easy–to–use system allows:

Powerful Software Solutions
In less than 15 seconds, PowerCommand Digital Paralleling Systems can parallel and synchronize all your diesel and multiple gas–engine generator sets with each other and the utility. This true distributed logic concept features paralleling controls mounted on the generator sets, low or medium voltage power sections and the digital master control for supervisory functions.
Cummins Power Generation's easy–to–use PowerCommand iWatch™ remote monitoring systems help reduce your power system setup, operation and maintenance costs. PowerCommand iWatch provides supervisory monitoring, from one location, for easy management of on–site and off–site power systems. It seamlessly interfaces with multiple PowerCommand networks to monitor locally or remotely, either via Local or Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN) or through cellular or satellite links.
PowerCommand iWatch Web–based monitoring products allow you to supervise and control generators and transfer switches from any location:
- Supports Web–based access
- Provides multiple alarm notifications
- Local or remote monitoring and control
- Real–time data collection
- Data retention
- Report generation on the entire power system from one location
PowerCommand Pulse™
PowerCommand Pulse (or PC Pulse™) software incorporates all the useful features of PowerCommand iWatch with a more robust, OPC–driven graphical user interface for quick and easy monitoring of multiple power systems. Graphical screens display current alarms and historical alarm logs and offer three levels of system security. Additional PC Pulse options include:
- Alarm paging
- Auxiliary monitoring (currently only available via Ethernet connection)
- Data logging and historical trending (not available with PCPD models)
