PowerCommand Controls Technology

Microprocessor controls built into the PowerCommand system take you far beyond traditional generators and power systems. PowerCommand adds "smart" functionality — accessing critical performance data within the power system or other networked devices whether the generator set is online or not.

Without the expense and complexity of add–on components, PowerCommand can remote–sense, monitor, control and store data from up to 150 nodes. Control capabilities include diagnostics, testing, feedback functions and corrective actions for enhancing reliability and performance.

Digital paralleling is another integrated function of every PowerCommand power system. Synchronized interconnection with other generator sets or the power grid required no additional relays, controls or hardware to add costs or take up space.

The PowerCommand control system uses fault–tolerant, distributed logic design which eliminates single points of failure. This means that system components remain fully functional even if a master component fails, ensuring reliable backup or prime power 24/7.
