Power Management
Power management, or managing power consumption through the use of onsite generators, can provide significant cost savings. Onsite generators can be an important business management tool by:
- Reducing the risk of power outages and low power quality
- Controlling time–of–day–related power charges
Other power management strategies using onsite generators, such as load management and peak-shaving (lopping), can help reduce your overall energy consumption (especially in cogeneration applications), qualify for low utility "interruptible" rates and provide cost savings by selling extra power back to the grid.
PowerCommand® power systems are fully integrated and network ready — they make onsite power management easy.
