New Cummins Power Generation Rental Power unit is designed for power projects in hot, dusty environments
November 19, 2007 – Experienced in providing power in hot, dusty and harsh climates, Cummins Power Generation has introduced a new Rental Power unit designed to meet the challenge. The new C1250 DR2 Power Box 20 unit is a fully integrated power system (including generator set and controls) specifically designed for physically demanding power projects in the Middle East and Africa.

New Tier 3 acoustic generator set packages offer significant sound attenuation
November 15, 2007 – Cummins Power Generation Inc. has introduced a new series of 100, 125 and 150 kW Tier 3 generator sets with advanced sound–attenuated enclosure systems. With a sound level of only 67.5 dB(A), the 100 kW unit is one of the quietest generator sets available at that power node from a generator manufacturer.

Mexican cement plant uses Rental Power units from Cummins Power Generation for startup
August 27, 2007 – Cementos Cruz Azul (Blue Cross Cement), one of the world’s largest producers of Portland cement, recently constructed a new cement plant. With help from Cummins Power Generation and its Rental Power units, Cementos Cruz Azul was able to complete its equipment testing and begin limited cement production while the new transmission line was being constructed.

Colombian pasta producer lowers production costs with CHP system from Cummins Power Generation
April 18, 2007 – Pastas Doria, a large Colombian manufacturer of pasta products, installed a combined heat and power (CHP) system from Cummins Power Generation to generate more reliable electricity and produce heat for food processing.

Cummins Power Generation Transfer Switches Receive IBC 2000, 2003 and 2006 Seismic Certification
February 15, 2007 – Cummins Power Generation automatic transfer switches have been certified to comply with Class C, D, E and F (previously Zone 3 and 4) seismic provisions of the International Building Code (IBC) 2000, 2003 and 2006, as well as the NFPA 5000 code published by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).

Saudi Gold Mine Strikes Pay Dirt With Diesel Power System From Cummins Power Generation
